it was ok

I have been a fan of C.J. Box and his park ranger, Joe Pickett. This is one of the latest books and sorry, folks!
It's basically a diatribe against governmental practices in handling Yellowstone Park. All of the points made may be true, but I was reading the book for pleasure, not for politics and Joe Pickett has been lost in translation.

Carol I agree, and, in addition, this is the first in the Joe Pickett series that has a wholly unsatisfactory ending. I put up with terrible and unfair things happening to Joe because the endings are so satisfactory. Not this one. It might keep me from reading the rest. I am still stewing about it.

Tom I concur. Interesting concept.
Ending seemed rushed. I’m a big Joe Picket fan. Though the earlier versions don’t have cell phones or newer cell phones. I may have to jump up to more recent versions. Love C. J. Box and Sanford series. Looking for other authors on similar topics.
