I liked it. I had so much expectations which led me to be disappointed a bit but I liked it, which I think it's a good thing too.
Obsidian's is a new type of PNR story for me. One I wasn't sure of liking once I got deep in the story. However, the writing kept me intrigued, except for some repetitions in the dialogue. The two fiery couple Katy and Daemon are the "shining" gem in this. Their interactions kept things interesting & the UST going strong. I liked that the most.
The book left me wanting more mystery and intrigue. I'll be sure to read the next.
