Oooohhhh this was so good! I usually don’t finish books in one day, but I just couldn’t put this one down. And being trapped in the house because of COVID-19, what else was I going to do?
This book had everything I love: the 80’s, a good murder mystery, and some poltergeist action. I loved the character of Viv. She was strong and relentless. The whole atmosphere of the motel was downright creepy.
I did guess some of the secrets. I read a lot of these books, so my mind is a bit twisted. It didn’t make the book any less exciting. My head is still spinning! Loved it!
Fun fact: Poughkeepsie, NY is mentioned in the book and that’s where I live!
