In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto

This books contains interesting information and insight on our (eg Western society) relationship with food. I agree with several of the authors opinions and conclusions, however I think he takes a bit too fanatical tone throughout the book as he rips on nutrition science (and science in general) for wreaking havoc on our health via food consumption. In my opinion, there are some truths to his complaints against nutrition science, but his tone and complete dismissal of all things nutritionist it is a turn off.
