This story is like a weaving with multiple lose ends that are gradually woven together by the end. It's disconcerting at first because she doesn't follow grammatical rules, but you have to get over that. The writing has the quality of continuous movement, like life really is. I feel like I can imagine just the tiniest bit what it must be like to be treated like you are not human.
