Livy and Slade❣️ Surfer girl and the assassin! Another absolutely fantastic love story from this outstanding author. Her stories are everything you want in a heart-throbbing romance suspense. A tortured, mysterious hero, a smart, sexy heroine, a panty-melting connection and a story full of emotion, intrigue, danger with a touch of angst. I don't who I loved more, the dangerous Slade or the determined Livy. Her tenacity forced Slade to deal with her up close and personal and in a way he wasn't familiar with. Romance was new to him. But Slade's secret is a romance killer and when forced to deal with the truth the result was heartbreaking. Slade's background was so sad and his connection to Livy's was a game changer. I have to admit I haven't read the stories about Livy's family (I know...blasphemy!) but her father, Jackson, is a force and a TDF hunk! Ugh, be still my heart. I tore through this story with my heart melting with the hot romance and the tragedy that unfolded when the truth came out. Livy's response was so strong and so sad. Cue the tears! There was just one thing that didn't ring true but it advanced the story and lead to a wonderful resolution. Anything this author writes is spectacular and this one is no exception. An excellent romance suspense with a divine couple in Livy and Slade and terrific support characters in Aunt Jess, Daddy Jackson and the best dog ever, Jerry aka Jericho. A must read!
