My Mum told me she used this book to inspire a whole 6 week topic for Y2/3! She included English/Phonics, Science (planets/space) and DT (junk modelling - spaceship is made out of hairdryers and tin cans)!
It's such a funny story! And the final fold-out illustration of the alien moon party would made a brilliant end of term party!
