Ugh! I hate slice of life book that are character driven with no plot!!!! These two characters were so boring and I couldn’t have cared less about them. The one redeeming quality of this book which I did enjoy was their portrayal of Connells mental health struggles. I enjoyed that it was an accurate representation of what depression and anxiety look like for most people and to have a male character describing those feelings was very moving and powerful. Other than that, ugh! Waste of a week of my life.
