it was amazing

This is one of the best books I have ever published.
A cracking plot about how the word Bondmaid was stolen from the Oxford English Dictionary, but also a book of gorgeous characters. This had me crying like a baby at the end.

Lou Greene Agree! It was fabulous! Couldn't put it down and reduced me to tears. Was brilliant on so many levels!

Elise I loved the characters especially Ditte - the character of Edith Thompson. Tears marked the final pages too!

Diane Ashcroft This has to be one of the very best books I have ever read. I loved the characters, the plot & historical context. An emotional roller coaster with many tears. Beautiful!

Rachel Bourke I loved the whole story. One of the best books I have read.

Pamela North A really beautiful but sad book.

Michelle I agree. A real surprise, I loved it and the characters. I also cried like a baby with feeling in the last 3rd or so.

bohemianrhapsodyreads This was one of the best books I have ever read. Complete genius and perfection.

Sue I agree with the emotion at the end of the book - I even cried telling someone about it! Some of the writing was beautiful beyond description - the notes about Enduring Love between Esme and Gareth and Lizzie's final definition of Bondmaid - and I'm off again!
