January inherits a house from her father. Perfect, because she just broke up with her boyfriend and her romance book deadline is fast approaching. Augustus happens to live next door. He is a literary fiction writer and January’s college crush. As it turns out, they both have writer’s block so they make a deal to reach out beyond their genres.

I loved the development of the characters and their relationship with each other. Sometimes life is messy and it changes who we are.

Overall, it was a quick read. I love books about fictional authors so this went to the top of my TBR list!
