it was ok

DNF about halfway through. I have encountered many bad portrayals of Shakespeare but this book contains the first boring one. The novel has no sense of time or place which are absolutely essential for historical fiction and for a book about ostensibly about Shakespeare it has very little relationship the writer or his works.
