"Upset by two nostalgias facing each other like two mirrors, he lost his marvellous sense of unreality and he ended up recommending to all of them that they leave Macondo, that they forget everything he had taught them about the world and the human heart, that they shit on Horace, and that wherever they might be they always remember that the past was a lie, that memory has no return, that every spring gone by could never be recovered, and that the wildest and most tenacious love was an ephemeral truth in the end."

µþ²¹³Ù´Ç´Ç±ô✨ I start this book pretty much in april and i complete it in may and your so much thankyou emma you're the one who recommended me this book, so far i must say this book is not liked by many Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ readers in comment section but it left me stunned not knowing what to do with myself with the ending of this book, and still i am stunned but perhaps this one's got my all the time fav. Book of year so far.

Thankyou emma :)

Imchicksnugget I just bought this book today and I can’t wait to read it. Thanks for recommending it.

Judy Raj This was my favorite line from the book too. Glad to know it touched someone else just as much, enough to write it down.

Brian My favorite line, also. It basically wrapped up the contents of this story in a nutshell.

maia this was the quote that made me stop reading for a minute so I could read it aloud to everyone in my family
