After some internal debate I've decided to give this book a full 5 stars.
The writing is very well done. A lot of time is spent on atmosphere and inside the characters thoughts. Some readers might've gotten impatient but I personally enjoyed it. The scene was set perfectly.
What stopped me from truly loving this book was how stupid and immature all the characters and their "dramas" were. These are horrible people and the ones who- unfortunately. The author could have done us a favor and offed them all- survived at the end continued with the same messed up behavior. Likely shallow and selfish and self obsessed people like this exist but I'd avoid them in real life and can't really care about them in fiction.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people have this book on their reading list. I may have to try it. The people sound horrible.
