Laila Ibrahim Oh Patricia....I wish the next one was done. However, like building a loving and just world, I believe these books will be the work of my lifetime. It takes me nearly two years to write each novel. I just started the next in the companion--it's set in Oakland in 1915-1918. We follow the lives of May and Naomi. I'm glad you liked it enough to want more.

Have you read Yellow Crocus and Mustard Seed?

Pageturnr I am so happy to hear there will be another book to continue this story! I couldn't put the first three down. The lives of these women and their families can help those who have not learned how the pain of the past continues to be felt today.
It was good to read about the role of the Unitarian Universalist Church in the story.
