I reviewed this a few years ago, Majenta. I liked the second a little better and want to read the third soon. I collected most of the trade paperback series in their pretty covers.

I read the entire series and enjoy them. It's nice to space them out a little bit.
The HBO series based on it was really good too! Singer/musician Jill Scott did a fine job in the lead.
