Ludlum's well known and now Hollywood franchised, first book in the Bourne series, first published in 1980(!), and still a gripping conspiracy - espionage - thriller. Centred around the idea of a deep cover agent getting amnesia whilst in the field and his journey back to finding out who he is and completing his mission, to thwart the notorious international terrorist, Carlos. Good read, which I genuinely was gripped with. 7 out of 12.
