I don't know how closely this sticks to the original Grimm tales, but it was good. The narrator snark & asides were a bit much at times, though. There's a lot of death & destruction, some cutting off of heads & even a trip to Hell. Gretel is quite the gal! Well narrated & probably best in that format unless you can find an illustrated version. That would be awesome.
3 stars for me, but I think a kid of 10-14 might give it 5 stars. I would have at that age, so I'll give it 4.
