TPM was a book I wrote on nights and weekends while working a full-time day job as well as several freelance writing gigs. This space serves as a placeholder to share news related to The Perfect Marriage, including the film adaptation and a sequel that's currently in the works.
The Perfect Marriage is being adapted for film. William Broyles (known for Cast Away, Unfaithful & Apollo 13) is writing the script and Sigal Avin (known for Losing Alice) is directing. The film will be produced by Patrick Wachsberger, who’s coming off Best Picture for CODA, and Ashley Stern from Picture Perfect Federation.

I'm 70% in and enjoying it very much, but having a character named Adam Morgan, who is based in DC is awkward to hear at the beginning of all of his chapters.

😂Why did I think this was a true story? definitely kept me hanging on to ever detail every minute and didn’t expect that ending. Loved this story and can’t wait to read what else you write.
Couldn’t put it down!!! Also- do you think the sherif was so hot and cold because he had figured out something? I wondered why he was friendly at times and not friendly at other times...

This was such a great read! Learned about this book on TikTok and read cover to cover in 3 days! I was hooked right from the beginning. Didn’t see the ending coming! It kept me on my toes! Loved it! Highly recommend!

Ignore the people just spewing hate and not providing any beneficial constructive criticism on this story. @Sarah and @Aseel. You’re an up and coming author, and you’re not expected to write perfect stories, literally ever! Because no one is perfect like that. I did think the plot twist was a little expected, but I’m sure over time and with more thought into some elements to make the story take a sudden turn, any future plot twists for future books will be flawlessly unexpected. I enjoyed the book a ton! Keep up the good work!! (:
