kind of weird to find oneself, a 23-year old not planning on having children anytime soon, reading this book voraciously, swallowing every word and every letter like a starved child. this book is helping me understand my entire upbringing and, consequently, my current habits and perceptions -- things I have always struggled with without knowing why. a window into my own being, a window into parenting.
