I have enjoyed most of the book. I understand the author tries to humanized one side of this terrorist era but it was hard for me. I grew up seeing the terror that ETA planted for many years not only in the Basque Country but in all Spain so it was a heart breaking for me.
Seeing what is going on again in Spain and specially in the Basque Country and Catalonia I can see that we have not learned from the mistakes made in the past.
I do not totally agree with the author’s vision but it is his vision and I respect it. I recommend this book but if you do not know anything about this terrorist period(not conflict) I would recommend to find information using good sources.
