it was amazing

I listen to the audiobook version of this because Steven Frey is an amazing reader, and also because I can’t pronounce Greek at all. I learned a lot it was very informative, and I really like all the etymology information. I did not realize how many English words we have with etymologies in Greek mythology. If you’re into any of the Greek mythology series, I really recommend this it’s a good primer to get acquainted with myths.
I would recommend it all the way down to middle grades (if you get the audiobook because the Greek names/terms might be too difficult) but please keep in mind that Greek myths are FULL of sex and murder. Zeus has an affair with basically anything female on 2 legs (and In at least one instance, a beautiful cow) and lots of people are killed by vengeful gods. There is nothing explicit in the descriptions, it’s very vague and toned down, but just remember that Greek Gods are petty, arrogant beings that act in their own interest 99.99% of the time.
