I have read Shari Lapena before and loved her work. However, I did not love this one. I could not connect with any of the characters and didn't actually like any of them anyway.

I guessed "who done it" a couple of chapters towards the end and so skimmed through the last bit of the book, which actually does leave a bit of a cliffhanger.

I did not hate this book otherwise I would have given up on it. I am glad I read it and I would still read Ms Lapena again.
