This was a wild ride!! Elton John is extremely open about his past with addiction and bad behavior, about eventually getting sober and reckoning with his past. He's also very candid in his thoughts on other celebrities and well-known figures. It's filled with funny, surprising, and shocking anecdotes. He has lived quite a life.

Erin Celebrity biographies are hit or miss for me but I loved every second of this, maybe because he’s led quite the interesting life, and certainly partly because of the love he gives my favorite artist of all time, the late Leon Russell. I can see reading this again at some point.
