What a boring book. Two main characters whined their whole way through. I did not feel either of them had such terrible lives. Many people go through tough times but these two barely experienced unhappiness. The entire book, the two main characters worked diligently to remind the other how unhappy they were. I was so uninterested. They had a chance to make themselves interesting after � the bet� but nothing really came from that. Still wondering what the title had to do with anything .. but I guess a truer title like ‘Two Big Bores By The Lake� wouldn’t have moved this book.
