My new favorite book by this author.
I'm a huge fan of omegaverse/shifter cross-over books. There's something about pack dynamics and omegaverse dynamics that mesh so well in my mind.This book has the added element of a wonderful fantasy/fairy-tale feel to the world-building that made a classic omegaverse, rags-to-riches story feel fresh and unique.
I loved the growth and development of all of the characters, but Nate's evolution is incredibly moving. From a barely-tolerated, outcast half-breed, Nate finds love and acceptance. He's put in roles that he finds initially uncomfortable, but he makes them his own. I just loved reading the growth of the relationship between Nate and his brothers and Nate and their omega. Unbelievably heartwarming.
