The Pillars of the Earth (Kingsbridge, #1)

I've had this on my Kindle for a while now; last night I started it for the third time. It is good! Actually I couldn't put it down and read until 3 in the morning. It's a pretty long one so I'll write more when I finish it...
Finished it last night and immediately started Follett's sequel "World Without End". Just can't get enough of those wacky middle ages. There's some really fascinating information about the building of the great cathedrals, plus lots of bloodshed, hanging, bear-baiting and other atrocious activities of the time. But all that aside, it's a really great read.
