** spoiler alert **
To start with I didnt like this book as it was confusing, but as the book progressed and more action developed, i soon loved it. My friend had told me something big happens at the end, and I guessed maybe Alex died but when he actually did I couldnt believe it. I just kept thinking 'no, they cant kill him! What would happen in Pandemonium? He must just be injured'. But my friend confirmed he was dead. I then went into a state where I wouldnt talk to anyone for like half an hour. Why Alex! Anyone but Alex!
Only 2 books have made me feel strongly about what happens to a character- The Maze Runner when Teresa 'betrays' Thomas (that bitch), and this book, when Alex dies.
I found this book was very similar to 'Matched' as they both included the same concepts and basic story line. However Delirium was far more descriptive and well written.
Overall Delirium was a good read, though it took me about a month to bring myself to finish it.

"I actually lost this book at school and it finally got found today. Yay! Well I still have a long way to go, and at this point the book is rather boring, but okay"
