Horrendous. Truly awful.
Horrendous language. I mean, curse words just for the sake of curse words. Not necessary, Ms. Flynn. Generally writers are expected to know enough words to not have to use the f-word as constant filler.
Also, I hated both of the main characters. Both of them. I didn't even hate them in a "you're supposed to hate these characters" way. I just really hated them. So much whining. Grown people should not whine the way those two did.
I honestly wish that I could give this book no stars at all. I don't understand why this has been hyped up and on all kinds of best seller lists. What is it that appeals to people? The mystery? There are much greater mysteries out there.
