Erica's review
bookshelves: books-and-reading, dead-friends-and-family, great-narration, judging-the-book-by-its-cover, meh, mothers-and-their-kids, supernatural, terribly-disappointing, terribly_tiny_towns, unengaging, vapid-southern-nonsense, witches-vampires-ghosts-werewolves, women-and-girls

When the audiobook came through and I saw it was narrated by Bahni Turpin, I went ahead and gave in to reading this. I'd been avoiding it, despite the alluring cover and title, because other reviews let me know I wouldn't be thrilled with this story.
And I wasn't.
But Bahni Turpin is a phenomenal narrator so it was still worth it.
