When Mercedes Thompson Hauptman isn’t up to her elbows in auto repairs she is in over her head in trouble. While trying to bond as new step mom to Jesse she allows herself to be conned into going shopping at the Black Friday sales. When she has an accident and can’t reach Adam or any of the pack she becomes concerned. She uses her mate/pack bond to try and reach Adam. She can feel he is alive but he is angry and in pain.
