Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1)

A great werewolf tale! A bit raunchy in bits, not really my thing, but very well done. I liked the relationship between Elena, the main, and Clay. I found it quite gripping. In fact overall it was well-written and engaging - there was always action to keep pushing me through the pages.
My one gripe? A bit long. That’s a common gripe for me.
I will be seeking out book two when I can, though. :)

“You know, I couldn't imagine living somewhere without seasons."
Yeah?"
Real seasons, I mean. I'd miss the changes, the variety. Especially spring. I couldn't live without spring. Days like today are worth every snowstorm and slush puddle. By March, it seems like winter will never end. All that snow and ice that seemed so wonderful in December is driving you crazy. But you know spring's coming. Every year, you wait for that first warm day, then the next and the next, each better than the last. You can't help but be happy. You forget winter and get the chance to start over. Fresh possibilities."
A fresh start.”

"Great story so far. But one Q: What the heck are American raves like? The one described in the book doesn’t sound anything like a rave I’ve seen."

"I’m enjoying the relationship between Clay and Elena - I hope the writer doesn’t overplay it. 🤞🏻 Still loving this novel overall.
I do want to know who does the cleaning and other chores (cooking aside) in that house, though?? I can’t help myself. Big house, messy wolves, presumably no hired help...?"

"I can’t imagine a more awkward situation than the one Armstrong’s concocted. The worst thing though - poor Philip. 😔 He does not seem to deserve anything that’s happening to and around him. Unless there’s going to be a plot twist?? No, stop - don’t tell me!"
