Ok so... I thought this was going to be a romance with some sauciness here and there. The author did not build up the characters enough for them to be considered “good guys. This book is so misogynistic it’s unreal. And to make these guys look good, they bring similar men that do the same thing, but these men “smell different and unsafe...... what??
“Dax is hung... it’s only fair Nate enjoy her tightness before Dax ruins it. There’s still her ass to enjoy once we’ve bred it.
A penis is not going to ruin anyone’s “tightness. I’m sorry to break it to men, but you’re dinky is not that spectacular that it is going to change a woman’s anatomy.
Now I definitely love dark romances and rough sex in books. This was just poorly thrown together and instead of them being these “dark protectors as the author intended, they’re moreso rapey than anything else.
Continuing, I also love books where the heroine is passed between people, but for the most part she is cherished, unless it’s a dark romance in which case it’s genre is labeled dark romance.
She is treated mediocrely in this book.
I absolutely agree with a review I read, this book sounds like it was written by a man for men. The Omega just wants to be used, and when she’s crying and begging them to stop because she’s in pain, they see this as “let’s keep going and then she just wants to keep going. ???? What?
I also think their should be a TW because while the author may think this sex is consensual, even while writing “we need to force her, this is not and should be labeled as such.
DNF, 50%. I tried to stick it out but absolutely could not.
