The Old Man And The Sea.

I didn't plan on reading this book. But yesterday, as I was aimlessly scrolling down my Calibre library 2 am in the morning, I found myself halted before the title The Old Man And The Sea, by Hemingway. It brought back memories from my young teen years when I had first read the book, which was a translated version in my native language. I remember enjoying the great battle between a stubborn fish and an equally stubborn old man, who was also battling himself, and all these in the solitude of blue sea. What is this book about? It's about life. It's about perseverance, ideals, and sharks always nibbling around our feet, taking chunks out of us one jawful at a time. It's about moving forward knowing sharks are always circling us, that we still must go on stubbornly- into life.
