1. Story revolves around a mystery
2. It's so fast paced that you don't have to wonder or drawl
3. Love story for the "white girl" might be a theme but most of the time we're exploring
4. Now this one takes imagination but the whole mystery thing and the clues is so well developed, opening locks and doors and fights and relationships
5. Unlike usual crime books the protagonist is not some stupid dumbwit...
You still might feel it's not worth it to give it a try, and I hope you find something to your taste soon..✌️

Number 1-The plot isn’t predictable. Maybe that’s just me tho. I expected things to happen, but something else happened instead. For me, it’s hard to find a book like that, which is why reason 1 of why I enjoyed this book so much
Number 2-Sure, it’s your basic young adult romance. But honestly, it isn’t. Just because its a love triangle doesn’t mean it’s the same as all the other ones. The author manages to make it a little different with creative add-ons to Avery’s relationship with both boys. I’m generally not interested in books that focus mainly on the love triangle romance, but I really enjoyed this one.
Number 3-I really enjoyed the characters. A lot of people might disagree with me, but I felt that they all had an actual personality and depth. There was small bonuses to each of them, like Max’s swearing, Nash’s cowboy persona, the drama between Grayson and Jameson about Emily, (which I felt was incredibly realistic and the Jennifer Lynn Barnes portrayed very well) and Libby’s personality was just all around amazing. Overall, all the characters were different and in-depth
Number 4-The plot was incredible. It was creative, original and exciting. I don’t actually think I need to say more. There wasn’t really something wrong with it. I didn’t find it repetitive at all, but maybe I missed something 🤷♀
Number 5-Lastly, the writing was incredible. It was clear, descriptive but not too much so, and exciting and left you wanting more. In my opinion, anyways. Sometimes, the words were twisted in riddles and made me pause to figure out what it means, but I almost never figured it out. That’s one of my favourite feelings.
This is my opinion, and I completely understand that some books just aren’t for everyone, but I felt obliged to accept your challenge
