Frankissstein by Jeannette Winterson is a good read if you want more badass Mary Shelley

Junji Ito's Frankenstein was fantastic and such a fun way to get into the story. I also really enjoyed the series of short works that are collected with the American edition of Ito's Frankenstein. I think you will like it more than the source material!
Finally someone that thinks that it's a 3.5! All my friends rate it like a 5 and I have to accept that I was pretty disappointed when I read it. At least, now I know that isn't a crime not to love Frankenstein
I absolutely didn't like this book ! I read it for school and it made me feel depressed and disgusted!

Please please look up the video "Frankenstein told through vines" the animated YouTube video. I have never read the book but this is one of my favorite things on the internet.
