Yeah, idk if I'm going to read this one...
With the weird turn, this series took with the conclusion of Nightfall (seriously I don't understand how we went from kids pranking their town to a secret society terrorist cult plotline) and what I'm seeing based on the reviews of this novella, I'm not really excited if we get a next-gen because of how messy this series got after killswitch.
I know PD's books have always stretched the moral line when it comes to her books, but if she actually includes a romance between two cousins I won't ever read a book from her again. I will never understand how she wrote a character that has suffered through so much trauma because of incest while also romanticizing step-family relationships and actual blood incest. Like seriously yikes.
PD get your shit together and find another type of relationship to write about.
