An amazing read that kept me on the edge of my seat. This story will pull at your heartstrings, make your blood boil and stay on your mind long after you read the last page. Many people may have some form of prejudice in them, but it is hard to fathom that there are people out there who could have such hatred towards a person because of the color of their skin, religion or sexual orientation, that they would do such horrendous acts against another human being. I loved the way the story was told from five different characters points of view. I am glad though that Pappy did not get to narrate any of the story. I really despised that character. I highly recommend this book and this is another of those books that will be on my "favorite books list".
