Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art

I read it on the kindle, and almost quit at 35%. I read reviews that mentioned good things in the appendix, so I kept going. I was surprised when I hit acknowledgements just past 51%, so the second half is almost all footnotes.
Some of what I read sounded like simple things that might help, and it certainly made me more aware of mouth breathing when I exercise, something I am now trying to stop doing. A few simple breathing exercises seem worth a try.
Other things the author tried seem very extreme. I started this book thinking it was more of a meditation type book. It’s hard to believe if these things worth, that more doctors don’t know about these practices.
