really liked it

For the record, I read a yellowing 1977 edition complete with "16 pages of full-color photos from this spectacular space-fantasy motion picture." Ah, the nostalgia...

Such a fun read!

Nyon Smith Yea I found the 1977 copy on my bookshelf tonight. Read it when I was like 11. Wonder if it's a collectors item?

Bonnie I still have my copy, too! Along with a whole treasure trove of stuff from the original release - the Kenner toys (the Death Star play set!), the Topps bubble gum cards, the “Story Of Star Wars album (an LP with an abbreviated version of the movie story, using music and dialogue from the film . . .)

Tony Talbot My brother had the normal LP... Had the curve of Tattooine below a star field. Semi related note: Seeing John Williams live at the Royal Albert Hall in October!

John I’m reading a similar 1977 yellowing copy right now. I was 8 years old when this movie came out and it seems like it was a defining moment in my childhood. Great to relive it.

Tony Talbot "What's a duck?"

John I also just finished an old, yellowing 1977 copy that was a former library book, with the check-out card still on the back cover. It was a fun nostalgic read.
