that was so FUNNY and so GOOD and actually deserves no stars since it distracted me from my revision (also points for being the funniest book I’ve read in ages and for having a weird number of things in common with Gideon the ninth considering this is a romcom)


feel like I have more thoughts about this (a whole 10 minutes later):
- applause for the lack of third act break up, stupid drama, and self awareness of everyone in this yes
- I just want to give Wesley a hug, I really liked how this dealt with anxiety (especially in men) and it felt super genuine
- I can’t really get over how funny this was, you can tell (like how in Gideon the ninth oops) Sarah Hogle was writing just to amuse herself. those are always always always the funniest books for me
- pretty much every page made me laugh or smile or want to give Wesley a hug so thank you
