To Sir Phillip, With Love (Bridgertons, #5)

I had a hard time with this one, to be honest. Sir Phillip is a man with (pretty terrible) anger issues whose sole purpose is to find a mother to his children who he dislikes and actively neglects, and quite literally says that anyone will do for the role. Eloise Bridgerton deserves far FAR better than this. She plays mother to all of the characters in this book, and the men all seem to have rampant anger issues and a general lack of self control.
I personally enjoy the Bridgerton series and its characters, but this was not the best, so far this was my least favorite entry in the series. It felt forced, bland, off-putting, angry, and generally unpleasant. Poor Eloise, she got a "fixer upper" when she deserved so much more in her life ):
