This is one of my favorite books of all time. It truly makes you think. If you read the authors note to the end of the book, absolutely phenomenal story telling.
Tips when going through this book...
1) actually read the author's note, unless you are stupid, if you read you'll understand the story better.
2) don't stop reading in part 2. Yeah it's tedious but this is the story. I've read a couple of reviews and I can't even tell you how many of the bad reviews are from people who didn't read the whole book. Of course you don't like it, you missed the point of the novel. And that is your loss.
3) if you can't follow multiple speakers you may find it harder to read. And you can feel free to ask me, I will help you understand.
4) read for the pure enjoyment of reading, it's so much better that way!
Happy Reading!
