Amphitruo (Cambridge Greek and Latin Classics)

Hoo boy, this is a stinker. More than 50 pages that tread the same ground, overexplaining the same setup again and again.
I don't think that this should be read by itself. You NEED to see a play of it instead as most of the humour and characterization is dependent on charismatic actors portraying these characters. If not, the repetitive nature of the story, the honestly sudden mood swings and so on don't really get any time to find their place if you read it like you would any book-book.
