Ahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaahahahahahahahhhhaahahaaaahhhahaha Can you please make a video on this if you have the time and energy? I’m a little confused as to what happens aside from the obvious that is stated in your review.

Kanan Jarrus Yes captive prince is pretty polarizing with a lot of people personally I loved it.

Nico Ya Listen some stories aren't for everyone! .. but some people like this types of slavery and those stuffs ..so its wrong to say that its a burning garbage

Katariina Why do people who don't want to read books about the horrors of slavery proceed to do so?

message 12: by Rory (new) - added it

Rory Halsey No it doesn’t. It points out exactly how awful slavery and SA are. Did we read the same book? Also you should read TW before you read a book.

Jessica Sain I love ayman but I can promise that this trilogy does not at all glorify SA or slavery. The first book is a lot of shock to get through but the rest of the series is so thought provoking and special. Nothing is what it seems at first

have you considered the fact that people who like stories about sexual slaveries and rape fantasies are, in fact, weird?
im a kinkshamer baby

Layl :) I disagree with this whole heartedly...feel like u didn't actually read the book if this is ur opinion. I think the portrayal of slavery was actually putting it in a bad light and showing how through slavery people can get abused as stated in the review and taken advantage of, especially if they're made to believe what's happening is normal, even though it's not and shouldn't be. Very good series I would recommend, ignore this review and read it, it's definitely worth it.

Kathryn I don't think it glamorises abuse at all, I think it's a criticism of slavery, abuse, and sexual coercion. It's quite nuanced, actually. Also, I see you 5-starred Manacled by Senlinyu - if you can get past the graphic abuse scenes in that, you can get past them in this.
