I really liked BEACH READ. There was good development of the characters and the lives of January and Gus were slowly brought into a real life relationship. They both have flaws that they know they need to work on, but love wins out. We know January's anguish over her father's death and unfaithfulness to her mother. That alone is a book in itself. I highly recommend this story for its characters, story line, and faithful friends.
