** spoiler alert ** Let me start with: this book is not a romance, it’s really more a drama, and I ended up feeling quite sad and stressful for some parts while reading for some of it when I was reading It Ends With Us.

I’m seeing a lot of reviews from people saying that Hoover tried to emotionally manipulate readers, I didn’t find this to be the case, I simply believe she was showing the sheer complication around situations of domestic abuse.

I liked Lily and I sympathised with her. I LOVED her friendship and relationship with Atlas, and had the book focused more around them, with Ryle being the “spanner�� in the works, I think I’d have enjoyed this book more.

I was really disappointed that she got pregnant and ultimately is co-parenting with Ryle at the end, he’s just a vile person, and I was worried for her daughter!

In the literal last page, she was ready to pursue something with Atlas, but all I wanted was the romance surrounding them, their love as adults, everything.
I love Atlas.

It was still a gripping read and I struggled to put it down, but it stressed me out.
