Read 2 times. Last read August 18, 2021 to August 19, 2021.
i made a deal with my older sister.
she has only ever read 5 books her whole life and me being the good sister i am wanted her to read more.
so we made a deal: she would read a book i picked out for her (i picked this one because i knew she would love this genre and she did) (and also because colleen is my favorite author ever) and i would watch one of her favorite series that i wasn’t interested in watching (which turned out to be amazing)
to motivate her, i read with her. we took turns reading out loud and it was genuinely fun seeing the look on her face whenever verity would strike.
this book was absolutely mind blowing and reading it again after more than a year ago, i was still amazed with the plot even tho i remembered every small detail.
i still don’t know what to think, there’s times where i hate verity and believe every word of ‘so be it and other times where i notice how much her letter ‘dear jeremy made perfect sense (in my opinion)
i love that even colleen doesn’t know if verity is a liar.
i guess we’ll never know.
read this book.
it will fuck you up.
