I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I have not done a lot of fiction reading recently but once I began reading Lost Love's Return, I could not put it down. I鈥檓 not usually interested in history or historical fiction but this book sucked me right in. I was especially moved by the main character鈥檚 relationships and how different things were in America before people had things like the internet and TV to keep them occupied. I don鈥檛 usually like romance books that much but the drama of Peter lost love and the tension of his dysfunctional marriage got me hooked. Despite all the turmoil and drama, the book was a great break from the stress and real-world drama of the past year. This book kept me going and left me happy.
