really liked it
bookshelves: library, young-adult, newbery-winner, horror, popular, fiction, read-popular, four-star, published-2008

I'm not sure I've read another horror newberry winner. But like any Newberry Award winner, it was worth reading - even though I really don't like horror. And okay it was basically humorous horror. I liked the shtick of being brought up in a graveyard, raised by ghosts with a skewed idea of what was important. I liked the confusion between imaginary friends and invisible friends. All in all a good worthwhile read.
