it was amazing
bookshelves: history-america, race-issues, civil-war-and-slavery, diverse-and-women-authors

On one hand, this is a bit of history about the Juneteenth celebration. On the other hand, it is also a reflection about how we see, remember, and use history. It is a part history, part mediation. Excellent book.
